The Moon is Rising: Songs of Robert Nighthawk

Donna’s second CD includes 12 tracks – mostly solo guitar and a duo with harmonica player, John Jochem and Tony Nardiello (second guitar) on some songs.

The songs covered are Nighthawk’s earlier recordings when he played acoustic guitar and was known as Robert Lee McCollum and Robert Lee McCoy.  Songs include Take it Easy Baby, The Moon is Rising, Return Mail Blues, I’m Getting Tired, Jackson Town Man, Lonesome World, Crying Won’t Help You, Bricks in My Pillow, Gonna Move to Kansas City, Friar’s Point, Maggie Campbell, and Every Day and Night.
